I live in the countryside and close to the historic city of Ely which I find a truly inspiring place to live. I am a keen observer and am inspired by the many wonderful things I see in the world around me especially the animals and wildlife found where I live. I like to come up with Imaginative illustrations and characters for children. I especially love coming up with characters and stories about animals. I am a huge lover of dogs and I am inspired every day by spending time with my gorgeous two year old Welsh Springer Spaniel ‘Winnie’ (who is a great studio assistant!). I love creating my work by building up paint and texture on the page in front of me and seeing where my image goes.
